The Italian Embassy has introduced an important change to the student visa appointment process for Pakistani students applying for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Under the new system, students whose Universitaly Pre-Enrolment has been validated by their university will no longer need to search for appointments through agents or unofficial channels. Instead, visa appointments will be allocated directly to eligible students, making the process more transparent, organized, and reliable.
The process is now straightforward and student-focused:
Obtain admission to an Italian university for your desired program.
Submit your Pre-Enrolment application through the official Universitaly Portal.
Once your university validates your Pre-Enrolment, you become eligible for a visa appointment.
Ensure that all required documents are ready before your appointment is scheduled.
BLS-Intiana will contact eligible students directly and send appointment details via email.
Appointments will be assigned in chronological order, meaning students whose Pre-Enrolment applications are validated earlier will receive appointments first.
One of the most significant advantages of this new system is that students no longer need to rely on agents, consultants, or third parties to obtain visa appointments.
If your Pre-Enrolment has been successfully validated by your university, your appointment will be allocated automatically through the official process.
This initiative is designed to improve fairness and eliminate unauthorized appointment trading, ensuring genuine students receive priority.
The Italian Embassy and BLS-Intiana have clearly stated the following:
There is no official WhatsApp number for visa appointment allocation.
Appointments are not arranged through mobile phone calls or personal contacts.
No additional fees, commissions, or deposits are required to secure an appointment.
Be cautious of anyone claiming to offer a guaranteed appointment or guaranteed visa approval.
Students should remain vigilant and report any suspicious calls, messages, or offers through official channels.
While requirements may vary depending on the university, course, and individual circumstances, students are generally expected to prepare the following:
Valid Passport (with more than one year validity)
University Admission Letter
Universitaly Pre-Enrolment Summary
Sponsor Letter and Tax Documents
Six-Month Bank Statement
Flight Reservation
Health Insurance
Accommodation Proof
Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
Attested Educational Documents
DoV (Declaration of Value) or CIMEA Certification
Sponsorship Affidavit
Note: Additional documents may be requested depending on the specific case.
Many students believe their journey begins with the visa application. In reality, studying in Italy involves several important stages that should be completed carefully and on time.
University Admission
Scholarship Applications
Educational Document Attestation
MOFA Apostille
Universitaly Pre-Enrolment
DoV or CIMEA Processing
Visa Appointment Allocation
Visa Application Submission
Completing each stage efficiently can help avoid delays and increase the likelihood of a smooth application process.
Yes. Students whose Universitaly Pre-Enrolment has been validated by their university will receive appointment information via email.
No. Only students with validated Pre-Enrolment applications will be eligible to submit a visa application.
According to the new procedure, appointments will be allocated directly to students through official channels. Students are advised to be cautious of unauthorized claims.
The deadline for submitting study visa applications for the 2026/2027 academic year is 30 November 2026.
The introduction of this new appointment allocation system is a positive development for Pakistani students planning to study in Italy.
Students who have successfully secured admission and completed validated Universitaly Pre-Enrolment can now proceed with greater confidence, transparency, and convenience. The new process is expected to reduce unnecessary dependency on intermediaries and ensure that genuine students receive fair access to visa appointments.
As competition for admissions and visa processing continues to increase, students are encouraged to begin their preparations early and follow official procedures carefully.
For complete details regarding the new procedures, students should refer to the official announcement issued by the Italian Embassy.
